(A Mac OS X installation DVD or Internet download is preferred because the program will be installed, but don’t worry: You can get another copy in the next chapter.) You can get it from your Mac software store, but I’d advise downloading the trial version first so that you can see what Photoshop is like before you purchase it. On the Mac, Photoshop is part of Adobe’s Creative Suite.
